PVC was joined by Kim Kwang-guk and other players who played for KEPCO, including Bang Shin-bong, Kim Jin-man and Lee Tae-ho, who were called the "original spider hands" during their active days.

Kim Kwang-guk, who retired from active duty at the end of the 2023-2024 season, has since run volleyball academies in 11 branches nationwide, focusing on expanding the base of volleyball and fostering dream trees. Bang Shin-bong and Han Song-yi, who was the main player in the women's volleyball semifinals at the 2012 London Olympics, are also working as coaches at PVC.

Kim Kwang-guk, who led the PVC team to victory and won the Most Valuable Player Award, said, "I came forward because I thought that if PVC coaches participate in the competition, they can motivate the members. I wanted to expand the base of volleyball and instill faith in the coaches by showing how to use the volleyball skills that they have coached in practice. I am even more pleased that I won the championship."
